We spent Saturday at Hogle Zoo. It was chilly but the animals were up and around like we've rarely seen them--baby elephants playing with toys, tigers right by the glass and the Siamese crocodile with its mouth wide open.
We even got a peek at one of the new sea lions in the Rocky Shores exhibit, seen from afar.
How is the new polar bear? Are they showing him yet?
ReplyDeleteRocky Shores isn't open yet (June 1), but you can see a lot of it through the fence. We could see the sea lion pool and saw one swimming around.
ReplyDeleteThe polar bear isn't on display yet either but she's going to be in place when the area opens. It should be a neat addition to the zoo!
